Workshop tracks monthly
Every class is capped at 12 participants and includes all materials, a curated tool kit, and light refreshments.

Learn brush pen fundamentals, letterforms, and flourishing under the guidance of a professional letterer. Includes a take-home practice sheet set.

Our workshops take place in a sun-lit corner of the shop, surrounded by shelves of handmade papers, inks, and specialty pens. Classes are intentionally small so our instructors — many of whom are working artists based in New York — can give individual attention to each participant.
Materials are included, though frequent attendees often bring their own favorite fountain pens or sketchbooks. If you're new to the craft, our product collection offers starter kits that pair perfectly with each track. Many participants continue their practice with resources from the Smithsonian archives on decorative arts and historic paper craft.
